Rabat – The US city of Orlando, in the southeastern state of Florida, will host the 2nd edition of the Moroccan real estate fair, the Maig Immo Expo. Organizers have announced that the event will take place on October 7-8, instead of May 6-7.According to event planners, the second edition of this show comes after the success recorded by the first edition, in terms of the number of exhibitors as well as the rate of attendance and quality of organization. It has become an annual meeting for the promotion of Moroccan real estate and an open platform for meetings between professionals in this sector.This year’s show will gather a number of property developers from the public and private sectors in Morocco, as well as several banks and insurance companies, in addition to Moroccan residents in the United States who wish to invest in this sector. The exhibition, which is expected to attract nearly 15,000 visitors, is also a space for meetings and discussions related to investment and financing, as well as new tax and organizational provisions.The exhibition will also enable visitors to discover Moroccan architecture, and highlight the facilities offered by the Moroccan government and banking institutions to facilitate bureaucratic procedures for Americans wishing to acquire housing or invest in Moroccan real estate. It will also facilitate the organization of networking meetings aimed at discussing topics related to investment, finance and new tax and regulatory requirements.The Second Edition of the Moroccan Real Estate Expo is being organized by MAIG Expo, under the patronage of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Rural Development, in partnership with a banking and real estate group from Morocco and abroad.
